Doğa T. Kükrer, also known as Alchemist, was born in Nicosia, Cyprus. When he was 18 years old, he moved to Manchester, UK, to pursue a degree in Chemistry. His musical journey started in Manchester as he explored and experienced many genres, especially house, techno, and their subgenres in events and festivals. His first performance as a DJ was in November 2020 at Famagusta, Cyprus. His versatility in genres combined with his ability to tell stories through skillfully constructing sets in each of his performances earned him a permanent spot in the scene of Cyprus. He is known for his dynamic, energetic and groovy sounds in melodic techno & house. He shared the stage with various influential names such as Colyn, Nandu, Ivory, Ede, Ditian, Matchy, A*S*Y*S, Istanbul Ghetto Club and many more. He is the co-founder of the music & entertainment collective named Room 4 Collective based in Cyprus. He produced and hosted a podcast series called Emergency Loop that exhibits prominent and established DJs and producers around Cyprus. Alchemist is quite active on the scene, hosting events under Room 4 Collective, performing with various other event promoters and playing radio shows around Cyprus.
